Delete your account
You can do this yourself inside Carivo, or ask us to do it if you have already removed the app. Either way it is permanent.
What gets deleted
Removed
- Your account and sign-in
- Every car you have listed
- The contact details on those listings
- The photos you uploaded with them
- Any business you submitted to the directory
There is no undo, and no grace period. We cannot restore a deleted account, because after this there is nothing left to restore it from.
In the app
- Open Carivo and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete my account.
- Read what will be removed, type DELETE to confirm, and press the button.
If it tells you the sign-in is too old, sign out and back in first — that check is Firebase making sure it is really you before something irreversible happens.
Without the app
Email us from the address the account uses, saying you want it deleted. We reply to confirm, and delete within 30 days of that.
We ask you to write from the account's own address because it is the only thing that shows the request is yours. A deletion request we cannot attribute is a way of deleting somebody else's listings.
